The Association of Swiss Electricity Companies (ASEC, VSE, AES) has launched a far-reaching awareness campaign in 2009, based on the theme “The Future of Electricity.” The goal of the campaign is aimed at raising consciousness among the Swiss populace regarding the challenges associated with the future provision of electricity, on the one hand, as well as helping ASEC to provide small- and medium-sized energy supply companies with the appropriate communications tools, motivating them to directly enter into dialogue with their respective target groups, on the other. The ASEC called on Prime as the lead agency responsible for the conception and implementation of the campaign. “We were especially impressed with the tremendous speed in developing the concept as well as the enormous potential of the campaign idea, throughout all aspects," declares Dorothea Tiefenauer, Head of Communications at ASEC.
The assignment comprised a national awareness campaign with related websites, the development of an on-line game, corporate publishing and media activity as well as a series of internal association-specific events.
