Zurich’s full-service agency, Prime Communications AG, is expanding its business know-how in the energy, industrial and financial sectors, with the addition of Lukas Tschopp and Ruth Schmid to its team.
Lukas Tschopp (38) joins Prime as a Senior Consultant, providing support for mandates within the industrial, energy and public sectors. He previously worked as a public relations consultant at the agency level for many years, where he was intensively involved in all facets of corporate communications, providing services to customers from the financial sector as well as education and healthcare industries, among other tasks. Mr. Tschopp boasts professional experience in an array of fields, including PR conception, corporate publishing, corporate design, online communications, marketing and media research. He studied journalism and organisational communications at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences and holds a federal diploma in business administration. In his secondary profession, he is active as a university lecturer on the topics of business administration and business planning.
With the addition of Ruth Schmid (50), Prime is further expanding its expertise in the areas of public relations and energy. Ms. Schmid has worked in the energy research and industry for many years and possesses extensive know-how regarding the sector. With her broad-based experience in the corporate communications business – particularly in the segments of scientific communications, events, public affairs and social media – she provides support to Prime primarily with mandates from the energy and industrial sectors. Ruth Schmid studied English and German literature at the University of Zurich and is also a qualified PR specialist with federal PET diploma.
Prime employs around 20 experts in the fields of public relations, advertising, brand identity and corporate publishing. Since the company was founded 16 years ago, Prime has successfully focussed on an interdisciplinary approach for developing communications solutions.
