Prime provides support to Oxygen Biotherapeutics11.09.2009
US biotechnology company Oxygen Biotherapeutics has engaged Prime for its public and investor relations in Switzerland and Germany.
Prime, the agency specialising in corporate communications and brand identity, has been awarded the bid for managing communications at Oxygen Biotherapeutics. The assignment includes traditional media activity as well as the assumption of public relations tasks for the target markets of Switzerland and Germany, in addition to handling communications and fostering ties with existing and potential investors.
“I was really impressed by Prime’s references, as well as its intentions of bringing out the best of our company’s uniqueness with communications solutions and underpinning our position outside the USA,” according to Chris J. Stern, Chairman and CEO of Oxygen Biotherapeutics.
Each year, roughly 10,000 people in Switzerland suffer a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Biotechnology company Oxygen Biotherapeutics – with a significant share of its investors originating in Switzerland – has developed a new medication called Oxycyte for the therapeutic treatment of traumatic brain injury patients. Following the initial successful trials with Oxycyte, the company will now carry out clinical trials on around 130 patients with traumatic brain injury in Switzerland in the coming months.
With Oxygen Biotherapeutics, Prime is building up its biotechnology and medical technology portfolio and looking forward to the new challenge. Prime employs 30 experts in the fields of public relations, corporate publishing, advertising and brand identity. Since the company was founded more than 13 years ago, Prime has successfully focussed on an interdisciplinary approach for developing individual communications solutions.
