Alstom Power counts on Prime for global employee magazine28.01.2010

More than 50,000 Alstom Power employees in roughly 70 countries will receive a joint employee magazine for the first time ever this spring. The world’s leading power-generating equipment manufacturer has engaged Prime for the conception and implementation of the corporate magazine.

In spring 2009, Alstom merged its two power generation sectors, Power Systems and Power Service, into a single new Sector. The newly established entity – with 50,000 employees worldwide in around 70 countries – will now receive a new, joint employee magazine within the scope of a change campaign. It will be published on a quarterly basis in seven different languages for the first time in spring 2010.

Alstom Power, headquartered in Baden, Switzerland, is entrusting the Zurich-based communications agency Prime with the conception and implementation of the magazine. “Prime has particular know-how regarding the energy sector as well as our business. Within just a short time, the agency has designed an impressive layout concept that precisely meets the needs of our heterogenous target groups,” declares Bruno Tourne, Internal Communication Director at Alstom Power.

Prime employs 30 experts in the fields of public relations, corporate publishing, brand identity and advertising. Since the company was founded, Prime has successfully focussed on an interdisciplinary approach for developing client-specific communications solutions.
